Treatment Programs

There are many different types of treatment programs that have their own specialties, levels of care, and settings. This includes regular outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), residential treatment, hospital inpatient treatment, and detoxification.

It can be difficult to find treatment programs that are most appropriate for an individual’s needs, wither by location, programming, cost, or availability. Oftentimes people make the mistake of thinking treatment is one and done, whereas there should be transitions from higher levels of care to lower levels of care as well as a strong aftercare plan.

Most people who achieve sustainable change do so through prolonged engagement, support, and practices.
